Of all the various and different bathrooms we all see one of the most common form is the public bathroom. More and more these days we witness the changing design of bathrooms through public bathrooms and this has a habit of rubbing off on us so we too want to change our bathroom design.

Wet rooms were once considered o be very continently and not for us British but much has changed over the last decade and now wet rooms have become more common and no less so than in public bathrooms in gyms and schools. Showers are now the most common form of bathing outside the home and remember this is showering without shower enclosures.
Bathroom suites have and will always take pride of place in most bathrooms in the UK but it is true that more and more of us use showers than ever before mainly due to the lower costs associated with showers,
Another expanding market in the bathroom sector is that of toilet seats, would you believe there are now over a hundred thousand designs of toilet seats? Who worked that fact out I don’t know.
One constant in all of these changing times are how we keep our bathrooms warm as central heating continues to be the number one way in which UK homes are heated, radiators and towel rails are therefore the obvious way in which bathrooms in the UK are heated.
Indoor & Outdoor Furniture
Outdoor furniture comes in all types and styles from the very durable to the very stylish and often a combination of the two. Garden furniture’s main function is to be used outside for seating and comfort and enjoying the sun, if you are looking for garden furniture or Chinese furniture then read on.
Of most of the happy memories I have of being a child most of them involve the outdoors as I’m sure is true for most when they take the time to think about it. So, if we enjoy the outdoors so much why is it that we seem to spend less on outdoor furniture than indoor? Well, indoor furniture gets used all year round and garden furniture doesn’t!
This is the great untruth that has been told of garden furniture that it can only be used outside and not inside, well an even greater truth is that indoor furniture can only be used indoors. It is for this reason I believe that many more young people are actually spending their hard earned cash on quality teak garden furniture and rattan garden furniture.
Rattan furniture is probable one of the most versatile furniture’s available as it can be used in the garden in the conservatory or even your lounge. Rattan furniture comes in all styles and designs like rattan daybeds and rattan sofa sets, dining sets all of these can easily be moved inside and look just at home. Rattan garden furniture is not just for the garden it can be used anywhere in your home and for this reason it makes more sense to spend extra on this furniture than other indoor furniture.
Oak furniture has been used in the UK mainly as indoor furniture with oak dining furniture and Oriental furniture taking pride of sales with such items as oak display cabinets, so if you are looking for some quality solid indoor furniture its worth checking out.
Flooring
For most of us wood flooring is somewhat of a luxury we can ill afford but for more and more of us these days wood is becoming the must have on our floors. Wooden floors have had a long tradition throughout the ages and have long been admired for their near perfect finishes. If you have ever seen a cherry wood floor you will know just what a fantastic look it has shinning in the dullest of lights it really does look almost regal.
Due to the high costs of wooden floors some clever guy invented the laminate floor. The laminate floor effectively, prints a pattern of wood onto the flooring and in many cases almost looks just like a wooden floor.
For others who are lucky enough to have wooden floor boards or parquet flooring sanding and sealing these to reveal the beautiful wood underneath has been a stroke of genius as floor sanding is far and away cheaper than having new wooden floors installed.
Sports floors have always been designed using wood as it is one of the most flexible services and so gives the right amount of spring required from various sports. Sports hall floors can often be re-sanded up to two times a year if they are well used as the line marking gets worn out quickly and you have to have the floor sanded before you can carry out the court markings.
Heating Habits
Heating habits can be summed up with central heating as this is the number one form of heating used in UK homes and properties. If you are using central heating to heat your home then you will need to have your boiler checked every year for safety reasons as well as economical reasons. One of the safest boilers on the market are Ariston boilers not only are they safe but they are very good value too.
If you do not use central heating but use economy 5 or 7 through electricity then just as with central heating you will require hot water cylinders to store and heat all the hot water you use. Gledhill cylinders and Telford cylinders are both well priced and constructed and brand leaders when it comes to cylinder design.
